Built as quarters for the post commander in 1886, the house was named for General George C. Marshall who served as commander of Vancouver Barracks from 1936-38. This elegant Queen Anne Victorian home is available for weddings, receptions, parties and other special events. A list of approved caterers will be made available to you.
The Marshall House is ADA accessible, has bathrooms, and a catering kitchen that provides a sink and refrigerator (range and oven not available).

Tables and Chairs
In addition to the large, stately and functional tables in the Conference Room, and antique furniture throughout the house; available for use are four 96” rectangular tables, eight 72” rectangular tables, seven 48” outdoor wrought iron round tables and 27 wrought iron chairs. All other furniture must be arranged separately.
A renting party will meet with Marshall House staff prior to an event to fill out a “floor plan” to determine furniture placement for the event. If any furniture is to be moved during the rental event, the staff will monitor and the room renter will assume responsibility and provide able bodied volunteers to move the furniture.
