Description

Situated in the West Barracks, the Red Cross Convalescent House was built in 1918-1919 to provide a homey atmosphere for injured soldiers. Later it was used as a Service Club. Today the restored building hosts events in its large lounge featuring gleaming hardwood floors, fireplace and adjoining sun porch.

Details

Amenities: The Community Room is ADA accessible, has restrooms, a catering kitchen, and a patio/porch that welcomes your guests as they enter. Note: The Community Room fireplace is inoperable and no burning material will be permitted in the fireplace.

Audio-Visual Equipment: State-of-the-art built-in projection/sound system is easily accessed, simple to use, and included in the rental fee.

Tables and Chairs: Tables and chairs are included in your rental and are set up prior to your event start time. Available for your use are: 72” rectangular tables, 48” rectangular tables, 72” round tables, 100 fabric chairs, 75 hard plastic chairs.

Size: 54 feet by 28 feet totaling 1512 square feet; please note the basement and second floor are not for rent.

An additional refundable deposit is required to secure a rental booking: $250 for weekday; $500 for weddings & large parties.
